Changing a Name, Date, or Account on a Receipt

 How can I change a name, date, or account on a receipt?

  1. Locate the receipt (Receipts, Enter/Edit Receipt Register), highlight and click on the Edit Receipt Header button. Carefully select the correct name by using the ellipsis (…) button under the Change To portion of the window. Type the Reason for the Change, and Post Changes. Comments may also be added or changed in this screen.
  2. Locate the receipt (Receipts, Enter/Edit Receipt Register), highlight and click on the Change button. You will not be able to change the date of the receipt without administrative rights from TES. This is generally done via TES Support by calling 888-756-5333 option 3 unless your district has a designated individual who has permission to do so.
  3. You may change the account or allocation of charges by highlighting the receipt, clicking the Change button, and choosing either Void this Line or Void all Lines. Next Insert the correct amounts or accounts, then Post.
